We have met with Minenhle, a young lady who has a truly inspiring story. She grew up close to the Zulufadder day care canter and received support from the organization as a young girl. This support allowed her to complete her education and pursue her dream of becoming a teacher. Today, she is a teacher at Gratton School and has a bright future ahead of her. In this interview, we will learn more about Minenhle’s journey and her advice for the students at Gratton School.
Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your background?
My name is Minenhle and I grew up close to the Zulufadder day care canter. My family had limited financial means, so I was lucky to receive support from Zulufadder when I was young. This gave me the opportunity to complete my education and realize my dreams of becoming a teacher.
How has Zulufadder helped you?
Zulufadder provided me with both financial and moral support. They helped me pay for my education and also gave me the opportunity to participate in various workshops and courses that helped me develop my skills and interests. They believed in me and provided me with support when I needed it, which was very important to me.
How did you end up as an assistant at Gratton school?
After completing high school, I applied for a job as an assistant at Gratton school. I got the job and worked hard to do a good job. I also continued my education to become a teacher while working as an assistant, which allowed me to get a permanent job at the school later.
What do you like best about working as a teacher?
I love to impart knowledge to the children and watch them grow and develop. It is also very rewarding to see their eyes light up when they understand something new. I also think that I can make a difference in their lives by giving them the tools they need to achieve their dreams.
What are your future plans?
My plan is to continue working as a teacher at Gratton School and to help more children achieve their dreams. I will also continue my education to become an even better teacher.
What advice would you give to students at Gratton School today?
My advice to students at Gratton School today would be to work hard, be curious and never give up on their dreams. Education is the key to a successful future, so it’s important to take advantage of the opportunities you have and to always strive for excellence. Additionally, always be kind and respectful to those around you, as building positive relationships with others is an important part of life.
Thank you!
Finally, I would like to thank Zulufadder for the support I received as a young person and for giving me the opportunity to realize my dreams. I would also like to thank the Gratton school community for allowing me to continue to develop as a teacher. To the students at Gratton school, I would say never give up on your dreams and always work hard to achieve your goals. Education is one of the most important investments they can make in themselves, so I encourage the students to take advantage of all the opportunities they have got.
