If education is the best investment Zulufadder can make in our project children, then literacy and numeracy are vital to ensure that the children gain an early understanding of the basic concepts.
In partnership with Rotary International, Zulufadder has been distributing The Usborne Illustrated Dictionary to our children. The dictionary combines literacy and numeracy in a lavishly illustrated book that also serves as an encyclopaedia and reference book covering a wide range of topics in a simple and understandable way.
In our rural schools where text books are at a premium, the books are treasured and well used by Zulufadder children of all ages and school grades.
The dictionaries are supplied from England at a discounted price and Zulufadder hopes to be able to continue with this project for future generations of children.
