1. What is your background?

• I'm an actor at the National Theatre. Mother of three. And quite a lot more.

2. What is your connection to Zulufadder?

• I started Zulufadder after a holiday trip to South Africa in 2004. A meeting with Aurelia, a local, elderly woman who already had a project going on with distributing soup to all children who needed food was the deciding factor. I understood that I could trust her. Then I started fundraising in Norway. And went back down with Silvia, who built the organization and who still runs Zulufadder. Now with more focus on education.

3. What is your biggest goal right now?

• To help the poorest children with food and education And not least to be able to maintain Gratton, the school we have built, at a high level. As well as getting stable sponsors, which means we can help more people with higher education. And make Zulufadder less dependent on my efforts.

4. What is your life motto?

• I don't have a life motto. But I see that the path is made as you go and you have to understand what is important and seize the opportunities when they come.

5. What makes you stand out in the crowd?

• I don't know if I stand out in this particular context. I've just been lucky. Met the right people at the right time. Silvia and Nick have driven Zulufadder forward on the spot. I've used the channels I've had available to create buzz and raise money. Fate and quite a bit of hard work have brought us to where we are today.
